Today I came to Yuvasakthi to address the members of SHG. I am thankful to Yuvasakthi for inviting me. I also distributed various loans to SHG to start their own business.

I am pleased to learn that YUVASAKTHI is publishing a souvenir on “Livelihood Promotion through Micro Credit”. Yuvasakthi has taken a bold initiative in supporting Self-Help Groups in A & N Islands by providing Micro Credit through funding support from Rashrtiya Mahila Kosh and other agencies. This is indeed a laudable initiative for promoting self-employment, particularly for women and youth, both in urban and rural areas.

It is always a pleasure interacting with NGOs, especially when they are doing good work. Yuvasakthi is one such NGO working in Port Blair focusing on the problems of women.
I also interacted with some of their members and very happy to note how confident they were in their discussions. I truly appreciate the efforts of the President and other office bearers who are so deeply involved in their tasks and who has sacrificed so much to dedicate themselves to this organization

I wish the CEO their office bearer, staff and all other members all the very best in their entire Endeavor’s.
