VISION

  • Yuvasakthi envisages in forming another 1000 Self Help Groups in South Andaman, North and Middle Andaman District prior to the year 2014.

  • As a Micro Financing Organization plans to distribute Micro Credit worth Rs.10 Crores for 10,000 Women Beneficiaries(SHG Members)

  • Plans to set up a fully fledged Vocational Training Centre with job-oriented courses for women / youths.

  • Plans to establish a Self Help Group Federation/Cooperative Society for Set up wholesale Readymade garments Unit, Handmade Note Books manufacturing unit, Milk chilling plant, Mushroom culture and Floriculture, Handicrafts units, Agro Products Marketing Centre, Multipurpose Super Market, Tourism Services, Fish Processing and Export units, Coir Units at Port Blair with an employment opportunity for 5000 SHG members and Import to other Islands.

  • Plans to establish Training cum Production Centre for Self Help Group members for imparting them training in job-oriented courses with the financial assistance and support of NABARD.

  • To enhance Youth Resources Centre with Qualified resource Person and materials.

  • Widening the scope of its service to other parts of the country.

Yuvasakthi Capability
Women Empowerment Programme is one of the Objectives of the Project aiming at involvement of women in cooperative movement as well as promoting women cooperative societies, JLG and Self Help Group and raising their socio economic conditions through them.

  • Organizing SHGs Members whose main job is to regularly collecting the thrift deposit and to advance and recover loans.
  • Undertaking educational activity in the field of adult literacy, health, family welfare, aids, environment and other social programmes
  • To educate emphasis of the Self Help Group members to undertake income generating activities.
